Personal work.
Portraits, family sessions, and the milestones — maternity through wedding. Paced around your family, never rushed.
Two ways to think about Personal work:
Portraits are the timeless ones — family sessions outdoors, personal portraits in studio, headshots for the LinkedIn shot you actually like, and sports portraits for kids and amateur athletes. The kind of work that goes on the wall and stays there.
Life Milestones are the chronological ones — maternity, newborn, personal events (mitzvahs, baptisms, communions, birthdays), engagement, and the wedding film. Same photographer year after year, if you want. A body of work that grows alongside your family.
Every session starts with a conversation about what matters. We talk through the location, the timing, who's in the picture, what you want to remember about this moment in particular. Children get their own pace. Babies get their own schedule — we will absolutely take a 30-minute break mid-session if a newborn needs to feed. We don't rush. The frames that hold up year after year are usually the ones where everyone forgot the camera was there.
Wedding video is delivered by a long-term partner studio — couples come in through Spoonbill, the project is qualified on a consultation call, and a trusted wedding team handles the day. Marcos stays involved from intake through delivery, so the eye on the project is consistent even though the cameras aren't his.
Tell us about your session. The intake form asks for the basics — dates, location, what you have in mind. We respond within one business day.
