Portraits should feel like the person, not just resemble them. Whether the brief is dramatic editorial or soft natural light, every session is built around what you're trying to say with the image — the wardrobe, the location, the time of day, the post. We talk through it before we shoot.
Every personal portraits session includes
- 60-minute studio or 90-minute on-location session
- Minimum 25 edited images (studio) or 35 (on-location)
- Multiple looks and locations as time allows
- Online gallery delivered within a week
Starting points.
Every Spoonbill project ends with a custom quote. These tiers give you a starting point for the conversation. Final pricing is set once we've talked through the specifics — every job is a little different.

Galleries are edited — color, exposure, and tone. Photoshop retouching (skin, object removal) is available on selected images, quoted per image.
A 50% deposit confirms and locks the date. Remaining 50% due the day before the shoot.

Editorial sensibility
Each session is planned in advance. We go in with a shot list, references, and a wardrobe plan rather than guessing on the day.
Studio + outdoor flexibility
Full studio at the farm for controlled work; the surrounding Jupiter Farms landscape for natural-light environmental portraits, all within walking distance.
Hand-edited, not run through a filter
Every image is individually edited — color graded, exposure and tone dialed in, skin texture preserved, no plastic AI smoothing. Deeper Photoshop retouching is available per image when a shot calls for it.
