Testimonials

Video testimonials for businesses, brands, and healthcare practices.

A testimonial that lands captures the speaker's confidence, not just their words. We work with the subject before the shoot to make sure they're comfortable on camera, then run a multi-camera setup that gives the editor real choices — different angles, B-roll context, and audio that doesn't get in the way. The deliverable is a polished short-form video your team can post the next day.

Every testimonials session includes

  • 1-3 testimonial videos, 60-90s each, edited for social and web

Why Spoonbill

What makes this work different.

Multi-camera setup

Two to three cameras running simultaneously means real editor choice, fewer cutaways, and a more polished final piece.

Subject coaching

Most people aren't natural on camera. We coach the subject before they ever face the lens so the on-camera version is the confident version.

Built for downstream use

Every testimonial ships as multiple cuts — long-form for the website, 60s for social, vertical crop for vertical platforms — so your team has what they need without going back to the editor.

How it works

From first conversation to final delivery.

  1. Intake & prep

We start with a short call to understand who the speakers are, what stories you want them to tell, and how the videos will be used.

  2. Subject coaching

Every subject gets a prep call before the shoot day. Most people aren't natural on camera; the on-camera version becomes the confident version by the time the lights are up.

  3. Multi-camera shoot

Half-day or full-day shoot with 2-3 cameras running simultaneously. Broadcast-quality audio. B-roll captured alongside for context cutaways.

  4. Edit pass

Each testimonial cut as a hero piece (60-90s) plus shorter social and vertical variants. Color-graded, audio-leveled, ready to post.

  5. Delivery

Web-ready files within one business week of the shoot — multiple lengths so your team can deploy the right one in each context.

Common questions

What people ask before they book.

How long should a testimonial video be?

60-90 seconds is the standard for social and website use. Longer cuts (2-3 minutes) work for sales-page deep dives. We deliver multiple lengths from a single shoot so you can deploy the right one in each context.

Can we shoot multiple subjects in one day?

Yes — a full day typically covers 2-3 subjects with the same crew and setup. Multi-subject days are the most efficient way to build a testimonial library.

Do you produce patient testimonials for healthcare clients?

Yes — we produce patient testimonials for dental practices, medical practices, and other healthcare clients, with appropriate consent and privacy handling.

What's the difference between a testimonial and a customer story?

A testimonial captures the speaker's recommendation in their own words; a customer story is usually a longer-form narrative that walks through the problem, the work, and the outcome. We shoot both from the same multi-camera setup and edit each from the same source footage.

Do you produce written or audio-only testimonials?

Video is our primary deliverable, but the audio captured for video shoots is broadcast-quality and can be exported separately for podcast clips or audio-only use. Written testimonials are usually outside the production scope.

Who provides the speakers?

You do — the people who'll be on camera should be your customers, patients, employees, or partners. We don't cast or source talent for testimonials; authentic voices are the whole point.
