Engagement Photography

Engagement sessions that don't feel staged.

Most engagement sessions try too hard. The point is to look like the two of you, having a real moment — not posing through a checklist of prom-style shots. We work loosely, talk through what makes you laugh, and end up with a gallery that feels like the relationship rather than a Pinterest board.

What you get

Every engagement photography session includes

  • 90-minute (single location) or 2-hour (two locations) on-location session
  • Minimum 35 edited images (single) or 45 (two locations)

Starting points.

Every Spoonbill project ends with a custom quote. These tiers give you a starting point for the conversation. Final pricing is set once we've talked through the specifics — every job is a little different.

TierStarting atWhat's included
Single location Starting at $450 90 min · minimum 35 edited images · single location of your choice
Two locations Starting at $600 2 hr · minimum 45 edited images · wardrobe change time included

Galleries are edited — color, exposure, and tone. Photoshop retouching (skin, object removal) is available on selected images, quoted per image.

A 50% deposit confirms and locks the date. Remaining 50% due the day before the shoot.

Why Spoonbill

What makes this work different.

Loose direction

I'll prompt you when needed and stay out of the way the rest of the time. The pictures that work are usually the ones where you forgot I was there.

Real Florida locations

Beaches, hammocks, downtown WPB, anywhere you've actually spent time together — not generic backgrounds.

Wedding day continuity

Most engagement clients book me for headshots, family portraits, or video projects later. Same photographer, same eye, building a body of work over time.
