Maternity Photography
Maternity sessions in the third trimester, studio or on-location.
Maternity sessions are usually best between weeks 28 and 36, when you're showing clearly but still comfortable on your feet. We work slowly, plan wardrobe in advance, and pick a location that fits the way you want to remember this part of the pregnancy: studio at the farm for posed work, or somewhere outdoors with natural light. The natural follow-on is a newborn session a few weeks later.
Every maternity photography session includes
- 60-minute studio or 90-minute on-location session
- Minimum 25 edited images (studio) or 35 (on-location)
- Wardrobe consult ahead of the shoot
- Online gallery delivered within a week
Starting points.
Every Spoonbill project ends with a custom quote. These tiers give you a starting point for the conversation. Final pricing is set once we've talked through the specifics — every job is a little different.
| Tier | Starting at | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Studio session | Starting at $300 | 60 min · minimum 25 edited images · Jupiter Farms studio |
| On-location | Starting at $450 | 90 min · minimum 35 edited images · on-location across South Florida |
| Maternity + newborn bundle (studio) | Starting at $700 | Both studio sessions, single price, shared edit direction |
| Maternity + newborn bundle (on-location) | Starting at $950 | Maternity on-location + in-home newborn, single price, shared edit direction |
Galleries are edited — color, exposure, and tone. Photoshop retouching (skin, object removal) is available on selected images, quoted per image.
A 50% deposit confirms and locks the date. Remaining 50% due the day before the shoot.
What makes this work different.
Paced for comfort
Sessions plan around your schedule and energy. We can split across two short visits if standing for an hour isn't realistic.
Same photographer for newborn
Booking maternity and newborn with the same studio means a continuous body of work from pre-birth through the first weeks. Same edit voice, same trusted hand.
Wardrobe and location prep
We talk through what you want to wear and where to shoot before the day. No guessing on set.
