Family sessions work best when nobody's watching the clock. We block off 90 minutes, pick a location that actually means something to your family — beach, park, your backyard — and work in a way that lets the kids stay kids. The result is a gallery that holds up year after year.
Every family photography session includes
- 60-minute studio or 90-minute on-location session
- Minimum 25 edited images (studio) or 35 (on-location)

Starting points.
Every Spoonbill project ends with a custom quote. These tiers give you a starting point for the conversation. Final pricing is set once we've talked through the specifics — every job is a little different.

Galleries are edited — color, exposure, and tone. Photoshop retouching (skin, object removal) is available on selected images, quoted per image.
A 50% deposit confirms and locks the date. Remaining 50% due the day before the shoot.
What makes this work different.
Patience first
I work slowly enough that the kids relax. The best family pictures happen 20 minutes in, after everyone's forgotten they're being photographed.
Location scouting
I'll suggest locations or scout the one you've picked beforehand. We won't waste session time figuring out where to stand.
Lifecycle coverage
Newborn → child → annual family. Same photographer year after year means a body of work that grows with you.
