Web Design
Websites for small businesses in Palm Beach County — built, wired up, and measured.
Most small businesses end up with a website nobody can prove is working. It looks fine, it loads slowly, the photography is stock, the contact form goes somewhere nobody checks, and there's no measurement behind it — so a year later there's no way to say whether it earned anything. We build the whole thing instead: the site, the photography that fills it, business email on your own domain, and analytics wired to an actual conversion, so you can see enquiries arrive rather than assume they do.

Every website we build includes
- A hand-coded site — no WordPress, no page builder, no monthly platform fee
- Photography and video from your own business, shot by us, not stock
- Google Workspace set up with email on your own domain
- Google Analytics with a real conversion on the contact form, not just pageviews
- Structured data, sitemap, and the technical SEO groundwork search engines read
- Every domain, account, and login in your name — you own all of it
Starting points.
Every Spoonbill project ends with a custom quote. These tiers give you a starting point for the conversation. Final pricing is set once we've talked through the specifics — every job is a little different.
| Tier | Starting at | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| One-page site | Starting at $2,400 | Single-page site for one location or one service · mobile-first · contact form · hosting and domain set up in your name · live in 2–3 weeks |
| Multi-page site | Starting at $4,200 | Five to eight pages · written with you, not templated · Google Workspace email on your domain · analytics with a working conversion · live in 4–6 weeks |
| Site with a shoot | Starting at $5,600 | The multi-page build plus a half-day photo and video shoot, so the imagery is your business rather than stock |
| Care & growth | From $250/month | Hosting, updates, and monthly reporting on what the site actually did. Google Ads managed on top, quoted against your budget. |
Florida freelancers advertise sites from around $500 and agencies in Miami and Orlando charge $3,000 to $15,000 for the same brief. This sits between them on purpose: agency-level build and measurement without an agency's overhead, from the person who also shoots the photography. There's no platform subscription underneath it — a hand-coded site doesn't need one — and no contract for the monthly plan. Cancel it and the site keeps running; it's yours.
A 50% deposit starts the work; the balance is due at launch, before the site goes live.
What makes this work different.
The photography isn't stock, because we shoot it
This is the part a web designer can't match and a photographer usually doesn't offer. Most small-business sites are let down by their images long before their code. Same studio shoots your business and builds the container it sits in, so the design is drawn around real photographs instead of placeholder blocks.
Hand-coded, so it's fast and there's nothing to rent
No WordPress, no page builder, no theme with forty plugins behind it. Static files on a CDN — nothing to patch, nothing that breaks on an update, no monthly platform fee. Our own site's heaviest page went from 84.7 MB to 9.5 MB on this approach; that's page weight Google measures and visitors on phones feel.
Measurement wired up on day one
Analytics with a conversion on the contact form, so an enquiry is a number you can see rather than something you hope happened. We've fixed this on sites that ran three months reporting nothing at all — a tag that loads is not the same as a tag that measures, and almost nobody checks the difference.
You own every account
Domain, hosting, Workspace, analytics, ad account — registered in your name, with you as the owner and us as a user you can remove. Holding a client's domain is the oldest lever in this industry and we don't use it. If you want to leave, you take everything and go.
From first conversation to final delivery.
-
Talk it through
What the business does, who it's for, and what you want the site to actually produce — enquiries, bookings, applications. No charge, and no obligation to book anything.
-
Structure and copy
We map the pages and write them with you. This is where most of the work is, and it's the part a template can't do for you.
-
Shoot, if there's a shoot
A half-day covering the space, the people, and the work. Delivered into the build, and yours to use anywhere else.
-
Build and wire it up
Site built, domain pointed, Workspace email live, analytics and conversion tracking tested with a real form submission before launch.
-
Launch and report
You get every login. On the monthly plan, a report each month saying what the site did — traffic, enquiries, and where they came from.
What people ask before they book.
How much does a small business website cost in Palm Beach County?
Spoonbill sites start at $2,400 for a one-page build and $4,200 for a five-to-eight-page site including Google Workspace email and analytics, with a photography shoot bundled at $5,600. For comparison, Florida freelancers advertise from around $500 for a basic site and agencies in Miami and Orlando quote $3,000 to $15,000. The monthly care plan starts at $250 and covers hosting, updates, and reporting.
Do you build on WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix?
No. We hand-code the site and serve it as static files from a CDN. There's no platform subscription, no plugin updates to keep up with, and nothing that breaks when a theme changes. The tradeoff is honest: you can't drag a new section around yourself the way you can in Squarespace. If you want to edit page content daily, say so at the start and we'll tell you whether this is the wrong fit — that's a real reason to choose something else.
Who owns the domain and the accounts?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, and Google Workspace, Analytics, and any ad account are created with you as owner and us added as a user you can remove at any time. We don't hold client domains. It's a common lever in this industry and it's the main thing that traps people with an agency they've outgrown.
Can you set up business email on my own domain?
Yes — Google Workspace with addresses on your domain rather than a Gmail address for a business. We handle the domain records, the mailbox setup, and the authentication that keeps your mail out of spam folders. It's part of the multi-page build and can be done on its own for an existing site.
Do you run Google Ads as well?
Yes, on the monthly plan, quoted against your ad budget. Worth being blunt: ads are only worth running once the site converts and the tracking works, otherwise you're paying for traffic you can't measure. We'd rather fix that first than take a management fee on a leaky site.
Have you built a site like this before?
The Gan — Jewish Preschool at Chabad of Jupiter — is at theganjupiter.com: design, build, copy, photography, Google Workspace email, and analytics with conversion tracking, all from us. This site is the other one. Both were built the same way, and this page will tell you what we did rather than showing you a logo wall.
Preschools and childcare, trades and home services, clinics and practices, restaurants, nonprofits, and small professional firms — businesses where a handful of well-built pages and a working contact form do more than a large site nobody maintains. If you already have a site and it isn't producing anything, a rebuild is usually cheaper than the year you'd spend waiting for it to.
